Figured I'd update this thing so I don't have anything better to do. The lyrics above are from one of my favorite bands, The Cab. They just kind of explain what I'm going through right now (not that any of you really care about that, I'm just kinda venting right now. Feel free to skip down to the part about my writing.)
Anyway...How does something so amazing go so horribly wrong, all because one guy makes one stupid mistake and one girl won't forgive him? I screwed up, I get that. I never made an effort and I'm okay with taking the consequences, but...I love her; doesn't that count for anything? not in her eyes I suppose. She doesn't believe in love, or rather what I believe is love. I believe love is the desire to be with someone no matter how imperfect they might be. She might have been a anal-rententive, overly sensitive, self-loathing bag of nuts, but she was MY anal-rententive, overly sensitive, self-loathing bag of nuts, but no matter how much I'm willing to accept her, I can't make her accept me. I truly hope she can learn to love herself and find the courage to let people in. I'm the only person who knows her for who knows her inside and out and I still love her for better or for worse. That kind of thing doesnt just happen everyday, especially if you're not willing to let people in and accept them for who they are and you can only do that by learning to accept yourself. So here I am, part of me hoping she'll remember how much we meant to each other, and give that another chance, the other struggling to let go. I wonder which miracle will happen first.

So! back to the writing, I think I'm going to rewrite my Arcanum story, mainly because the more I look at it the more it sucks. I've already tweeked and prodded the plot outline quite a bit since I began and I've finally got it where I like it so...yea. My songwriting has kind of gone downhill and I haven't written a poem in God knows how long. I really need something to focus on. Well I guess thats it for now. Stay devious.
